On this page you can enter a Name and a Description this product.
The name of your product will always be shown when making a reservation in both the list view and the calendar view. The description is shown to customers when you show the list view only. For more information about each view, see the Booking Calendar section.
Product Description
In addition to the name and description, this section also allows you to decide if you want to include this product in your list on the booking calendar. The default answer is yes, but if you have a product that you don't want to show on the calendar and manage its bookings only on the backend using Frontdesk or if you are taking it out of inventory for a while, then select "No" where is says "Show in booking calendar".
Note: If you include lengthy descriptions of your products on your web site, a brief description is all that is needed in the Description field. |
Deleting a Product
The system allows you to delete a product if necessary. This is useful when you no longer will allow the product to be used in any reservation. When you delete a product, however, it is not permanently removed from the system. If you have current or past reservations with this product, you can still view the reservation and see it on a report. In addition, you are able to undelete products if necessary.
To delete a product, go to Setup - Products & Reservation Rules. In your product list, click Delete next the product that you want to remove.
