I wish I could give no stars. Do not rent from this company. Communication has been non -existent. We called 2 days before our check in date to discuss check in process and then the day of - Mary Lamb will not return phone calls. We paid the $1000 deposit and have yet to get it returned. We are 31 days out of check out. We have called and the VM for Mary Lamb is full. We ended up texting to get a response. She then called and tried to claim that house was left dirty and cleaning people needed more than the $375 cleaning fee which was very untrue. We are now having out lawyer contact this company to pursue our $1000 deposit. Again DO NOT RENT FORM THIS PLACE.

camp run a muck

We like a lot of things about this rental as we have stayed there 3 times in a row. The dishwasher doesn't work well, and with 12-14 people, it took a lot of time to keep up with the kitchen work. The house is clean and the dock wonderful. The biggest improvement this year was the critter proof trash collection area behind the garage. I didn't have to sweep up trash one single time.

The website does not do this property justice!! Immaculate inside , nice patio with a veiw of the lake! Beds were the most comfortable .. Fun owner and one of the best properties to rent on lake.

Stayed at Camp Run a Muck for the second time - and was not disappointed! The house is spacious and laid out nicely. Love the huge deck and covered patio! Very quiet and private, as it is the last house on the road...and a very gradual slope to the water and the quiet cove. LOVE Camp Run a Muck!!

Upon arrival we loved the LOCATION! This house is at the end the road, which was ideal for our toddlers! The house is a bit cluttered, the deck area is beautiful but has a lot of critters, cobwebs, the deck is not cleaned off the tables & grill had to be cleaned by us before we used it. The instructions on how to use the TV/DVD both up & down stairs & how cool the upstairs is not posted. At night the upstairs would "cool off", there is a house fan again no instructions. We visited in late May, I can't imagine what it must feel like up there in August! There may have been a way to cool it but, again there were no instructions. The internet usage is limited even though it says there is wireless you are warned not to use it or you will be charged? With toddlers and not being able to use the TV/DVD upstairs we were allowing them to watch movies on IPads. Not ideal! I would tell you however the lake in this area and the dock area is very nice and we did enjoy the water and our stay at Lake Norris. The deck area once we cleaned it was nice for the kids to play. Because our main concern was the toddlers and the walk to the lake we would stay at this house again. But, not because the house was a big hit but, because the walk to the dock and it being at the end of the road was perfect for our needs. Stayed at the Whistle Stop House in August. When we first entered the house I noticed how clean and nicely laid out the house was. First floor master was spacious and had a walk-in closet with laundry. The kitchen was large and had lots of counter space. Some of the larger pots and pans were missing, but overall it was a great kitchen. Downstairs had another master suite with walk-in closet with laundry. We took all our kids and grand-kids and there was plenty of room for all. The additional fridge in the downstairs was great for pop, beer, and additional ice storage. We had a covered dock (which was nice) in the Twin Coves area. Our only problem was this is not a no-wake zone and boats and jet-skis went by at a pretty good clip. Our boat did some rocking in the dock but was pretty secure. We stayed close to the dock when swimming so as not to be surprised by passing boat. We will be back next year.
