In JW Corbett WMA there are 15 primitive roadside campgrounds located along Stumper’s Grade, South Grade and North Grade available both during and outside of hunting seasons. Terms & Conditions

General Camping Information
1. Camping is allowed only at designated campsites.
2. A no-cost permit is required and camping subject to permit provisions.
3. Permits may be obtained through the online reservation system at Insert link or by calling the JW Corbett WMA Field Office at (561) 624-6989, during regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET).
4. Upon booking your campground stay, you will receive a confirmation email with the dates of stay and the permit conditions. This confirmation email will serve as your camping permit and needs to be displayed while camping. You will need a separate permit for each of the seasons you plan on camping.
5. The permit must be displayed at the campsite at all times.
6. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
7. Permits may be obtained up to 14 days in advance.
8. No individual may hold concurrent permits during the same hunting season.

Designated Campground Information:
1. There are 15 primitive roadside campgrounds located along Stumper’s Grade, South Grade and North Grade available both during and outside of hunting seasons. For specific dates when camping is allowed, see the regulations summary brochure. A permit is required for camping.
2. Currently, specific sites are not designated within the campgrounds and permits do not guarantee a specific site within the campground. As the overall J.W. Corbett WMA Campground Improvement Plan progresses and campgrounds are updated, permits will designate specific sites within campgrounds.
3. Campground O is located along Trail 11 and off-road vehicle capabilities are needed. This campground is only open for use during certain hunting seasons; see the regulations summary brochure for details.
4. The pavilion located within Campground B is designated for day use only. All permitted tents, camping trailers and self-propelled camping vehicles may not occupy within 30ft of the pavilion.


Permit Provisions:
1. All WMA rules and regulations, camping permit conditions and applicable environmental laws must be followed.
2. Camping permit holders must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
3. A permit must be obtained for each camping trailer or self-propelled camping vehicles.
4. A permit must be obtained for all tent camping. Each permit may contain up to 2 tents. Camping permit must be displayed in a manner visible to law enforcement and FWC area staff.
5. All trailers and campers should have current registration as required by law.
6. Permit holder is responsible for the actions and/or violation of permit provisions of all persons using the camp permit.
7. Each camper must ensure that their campsite is clean at all times.
8. Pets are allowed but must be kept under physical restraint at all times.
9. Store all food and garbage in a manner that will prevent access by wildlife.
10. Kitchen stoves, refrigerators and freezers that are not contained in mobile campers are prohibited.
11. No person shall bring lumber, fence posts, wood pallets, sheet metal or other building materials, onto the area or erect permanent or semi-permanent structures.
12. No person shall burn lumber, fence posts, wood pallets or other building materials.
13. Cutting of vegetation and standing trees (alive or dead) is prohibited.
14. Altering, defacing, moving, or tampering with official markings of campsites is prohibited.
15. All campfires are to be extinguished before leaving the campsite.
16. Individuals must provide their own firewood.
17. All trash must be hauled out of the area.
18. Littering and disposing of any waste products such as graywater, petroleum products, toxic materials, batteries, etc. is prohibited.
19. Any violation of permit provisions may result in permit cancelation and/or citation.
