The Utilization Report shows product usage for daily and nightly reservations. This is helpful in understanding how much a particular room/rental is booked over a certain time period. The report will also indicate the percentage for which rooms/rentals are booked for a specified time frame.
Note: This report is still in Beta and will be updated in the future to included products using Schedules in a future version. |
To view or print the report, to do Frontdesk – Reports. Choose Utilization. Here you have options for viewing, see below.
Utilization report options
Product: Choose All or select a specific product. This selection will only show reservations for the product selected.
Date Range: Choose the date or dates you want to view.
Type: Choose a Detailed or Summary report.
For online viewing, select the HTML Format or for downloading (Excel) and printing, choose the CSV format.
Utilzation Report - Detailed
In the example above, this Detailed report shows usage for one room in the system - Double Room.
The details include:
| ▪ | Reservation Code and Start/End date of each reservation, |
| ▪ | Calendar Nights & Total Nights: total nights that were available for booking based on date range chosen in report options |
| ▪ | The Booked Nights: Based on the total Calendar Nights, this is how many nights this room was actually booked |
| ▪ | Booked %: Percentage this room was booked based booked nights vs total nights |
| ▪ | Blocked Nights & Blocked %: These columns will show if this room was made unavailable (blocked) by the business. |
