About Gap of Dunloe Tours

A full day tour, departs daily from O'Connor's Tradtional Pub at 10am (we also collect client's from their accommodation in the Killarney area. Full Bus and Boat tour includes return bus transfers and a boat journey through the Lakes of Killarney. Client's can chose to either walk through the Gap of Dunloe (7 mile journey/12km) or take a Jaunting Cart (at an extra cost, to be paid in cash direct on morning of tour) that are available at Kate Kearney's and Lord Brandon's Cottage (depending what direction tour departs). Other tour options also available such as 'Bike on Boat' (bike hire not included) and also Boat Only tickets (Backpacker/Walker's tour).

Backpacker Walker Tour

Boat departs Ross Castle (Reen Pier at 11am, red boats)

Please allow 2.5 to 3 hours to hike through the Gap. It is 7 miles (12km) in length, the terrain is hilly, highest elevation is 840ft.

Bike on Boat (not including bike rental)

The Boat departs Ross Castle at 11am (Reen Pier, red boats).

Bike rental is not included in the cost of the tour.

Please note there are no bike rentals available at the pier.

Bus & Boat Tour

The trip departs daily from our office located at O'Connor's Traditional Pub (7 High Street) Eircode V93 DV26. We can also collect clients from their accommodation in the Killarney area. Check in-time: 10am.

Cancellation Policy
Please note, we require 24 hour advance notice of any cancellation in order for passengers to receive a full refund. Credit card bookings will be refunded back to the card used for payment of tour. Cancellations with less than 24 hours advance notice, will be at the discretion of the management.
