We paddle to New Years Eve fireworks behind San Francisco Bay Bridge.

This late night paddle starts from South Beach to the Bay Bridge. You will enjoy the scenic view of downtown lit up with holiday themed lights. The fireworks show with the downtown waterfront backdrop is spectacular.

This trip is NOT suitable for beginners. It is a kayak trip at midnight. The condition could be cold, windy, and wet. Please note the following requirements before joining the trip.

REQUIRED
Each person is required to have at least three years of kayaking experience AND have paddled a touring kayak within a year.
Single or double tandem sea kayaks are used- one must be competent in operating a touring kayak with rudder.
For this trip there is a size limit; height between 4'5 to 6'4, weight between 80lbs to 200lbs , shoes size up to 13.

PADDLE LENGTH
Typically this trip goes like the following: check-in, trip briefing, gear up, launch, (first hour), paddle to the fireworks(20 minutes), enjoy the midnight fireworks show(15 to 20 minutes), return to South Beach Harbor after the show(20 minutes).

INCLUDES
Enclosed double performance sea touring kayak with rudder. Single kayaks are available for more experienced paddlers. Life jacket, paddle, spray skirt, dry jacket, paddle mittens, lights for kayaks are included. NYE party favors included.

WHAT TO BRING
Bring a headlamp(for each person), warm hat and thin fleece jacket. Dress in layers. We provide a dry bag for your essentials. Please do not bring valuables.

DISCOUNT POLICY
Youth discount includes from age up to 17.

REFUND POLICY
You can change or cancel a reservation up to 48 hours prior, but it is better to take care of changes as soon as possible. Please call or email to ask for a refund.

GRATUITY
A staff and guide gratuity has been added in your reservation.

PARKING
You can buy a parking permit online with reservation until sold out. Please park at the visitor lot in front of building and pick up your permit at check in.

Online booking closes early, sometimes days ahead. We can not accept walk-ins for this trip. Most intermediate or advanced trips require a reservation ahead of time.
