Wonderful way to see Rome

We had a great session on our segways exploring Rome. After 10-15 mins training to get the hang of driving them we were off to discover many interesting things, including one or two surprises. A really nice and different way to do a tour. Fabio our guide was patient and attentive to our needs and questions and a pleasure to spend the 2hours with. I highly recommend without hesitation.
Wonderful way to see Rome

Super tour en vélo avec Mario qui nous a fait découvrir des endroits que nous n aurions pas fait seul, une spécialité italienne et un album photos de notre petit périple de 3h. Son français est parfait, ses explications claires et il nous a envoyé des bons plans. Nous le recommandons fortement !

A must-do activity

The title of the tour that I took with Mario, âThe Unknown Treasures of Trastevereâ could not be more fitting. I have been to Rome several times dating back to the 1990s and have never seen Trastevere like this! Before heading out on the tour, my guide Mario gave me a crash course (and some practice) in operating a Segway, this being my first time. His direction was great and he ensured that both he and I were comfortable and confident in me operating the Segway before embarking on the tour. (As an aside, during the direction and practice it became clear that my husbandâs mobility issues would not allow him to participate in the tour without injuring himself and Mario was good enough to offer and tell me how to receive a refund for my husband, which speaks to the high integrity of this establishment). The tour began with a fascinating history of Tiber Island and its two hospitals. I learned much of the neighborhoodâs stories historyâboth from ancient and medieval timesâ while zooming around the Roman Ghetto. My visit to Santa Cecilia in Trastevere was fantastic. Mario told me the legend of Cecilia the Virgin and her martyrdom and recommended I take a self guided tour of the church and it's cryptâ which I was so happy I did. The statue of the saint is in and of itself a wonder, but the maze of rooms in the space below was amazingâ filled with remnants of a time two thousand years ago and a fantastically restored crypt. Another stop on the tour was Santa Maria in Trastevere, the site where oil flowed from the ground and an early non-Paleo-Christian church was built. Stunning. Other notable sites visited or seen included the Ponte Palatino, Jewish Ghetto, and the Great Synagogue of Rome. We enjoyed biscotti at Biscottificio Innocent (don't miss the âbrutto ma buonoâ) and the granita at Bar San Callistoâ¦both included in the tour. Mario couldn't have been a nicer, more informed, and gracious guide full of empathy, knowledge, and good humor. I would highly recommend this experience.

Très belle balade , facile dâaccès grâce au vélo électrique ( 3h de vélo et pas une goutte de transpiration ð) Balade un peu hors des sentiers battus et Mario donne des informations en fonction de vos envies. Encore merci à Mario. Fred

We had a great Vespa trip with Mario. He is funny and we had great time. we sure would do the tour again!

Par mauvais temps, je nâai pas pu faire le Segway visites àRome nocturne. Nous avons annulé sans aucun souci. Jâai pu échanger avec Mario et vraiment un mec sympa qui parle français Il a laissé faire àma fille un bout dâÂÂessai en Segway elle en était ravie , je vous le recommande à100 % et la prochaine fois que je viens àRome, je reviens chez Mario Ciaoooooo

I had a fantastic Rome adventure with Mario, the great Vespa driver. He is knowledgeable about Roman history and quirky facts. The Rome he showed me remains a highlight of my trip. His sense of humor is an added bonus. I loved the "special coffee" and he taught me how to drink from the fountain like a Roman.

Fantastic evening with Mario! He was fun and informative. He helped make learning how to maneuver and manage the segways simple. It was a great way to see Rome!

Our jovial and insightful E-Bike host Mario gave us the choice to explore some lessor known areas in Rome like the Jewish Ghetto & many hidden treasures including a great couple of local coffee & food spots which we loved revisiting during our stay. A perfect way to start our Rome adventure.

Mario was a delightful guide from start to finish. His knowledge of Rome old and new was astounding. My fiancé was nervous to drive the Segway but ride it like a champ. Mario have a great lesson snd she could not have been happier Great prices. Very friendly staff
