Renter & Driver Requirements
1.All drivers must be minimum 25 years of age at time of rental, and possess valid drivers' license. Valid international driversÂ’ licenses are accepted.
2.Renter must have major credit card and picture identification.
3.Renter must be present at time of pick up.
4.Renter's identification name must match name on credit card being used to pay for rental.
5.Additional drivers are allowed but must present their own insurance to cover the RV while driving.
6.Any Travel Trailer Renters must have an electronic break control system in the towing vehicle. This is California State Law, and will not be rented to without this. No exception!
Rates Include:
1. Orientation on how to use the unit.
2.Starter Kit:
Full tanks of propane
Full tanks of water
Chemicals for sewer
Bath tissue paper
3. Generator use, (no generator in tent/travel trailers).
4. All hoses, connections and adaptors.
5. 150 miles per day; additional miles at $ .29 per mile. (Unlimited miles on all trailers)
Delivery Service:
Delivery and pick-up service available to any local destination of your choice. Please email or call us for more information and fees.
Reservation Deposit:
50% deposit is required to hold a reservation. This deposit will be applied towards the rental fee.
Insurance Information:
Plan A: Each renter can add the motorhome to their personal auto insurance policy for the rental period. The binder or endorsement should cover the vehicle and name The Village RV as an additional insured. In order to satisfy our requirements, the insurance provided must be full coverage to include comprehensive, collision and liability on a primary basis. Most insurance companies donÂ’t charge extra for adding a motorhome rental.
Plan B: Each renter can purchase a motorhome rental insurance through our rental insurance company, at $21 a day for motorhomes, $6 for travel trailers and $3 for tent trailers. If interested, please ask for more information when making your reservation.
Cancellation Policy:
In the event of a cancellation, a cancellation fee of 50% of rental will be deducted from the deposit, if the cancellation is made up to 60 days prior to the pickup date. If the renter cancels within less than 60 days from the pickup date or is a no show, there will be no refund of the down payment/deposit.
