I had to call three times and send an email before getting a reply about information. I make a reservation over the phone with Maria Loup who tells me she is charging me in full for my night but never mentions anything about cancellations. She send an email with my pending reservation which was the wrong dates so I had her correct that. I email twice ONE MONTH before the reservation to Cancel due to illness she replies back that she can cancel but we charge a 50% cancelation fee I sent back an email twice (i have not gotten a reply in 5 days) saying there is NO place on your email reservation saying anything about your cancelation policy NOR did you mention it on our long phone conversation when I made the reservation. Most place want 24 to 72 hours cancelation I think one month was good. Unprofessional as far as I am concern

Cold and wet for $200 per night

Review by El Magnifico on 2/8/16 10:27 AM

We were looking forward to our stay at the Everglades Adventure Tours but nature had a different agenda as it did for the two weeks we spent in Florida. Unusual pouring rain and cold front forbid what could have been an enjoyable experience. Of course, no need to say that we were unable to experience what is offered by this location but that is not anyone's fault but mother nature. What we have a problem with is the pricing for a "cheeky" that we should be able to cancel due to extreme conditions that were present during our stay. Even a night in a small motel would have been better. Having the facilities far away from the cheeky did not help either under the extreme conditions. Still, the area is beautiful and promising if you have the chance to experience it under more favorable conditions.

 Great trip

The pole boat was an excellent to get up close and personal with the Everglades. While I like to paddle, it was great having our guide, Jules, in the boat with us. I highly recommend this trip and would do it again

A Must to Experience the Everglades

Review by Tippie & Paul on 1/27/15 6:09 PM

Today we had a tour of the Everglades in a flat bottom Pole Boat. We chose the Pole Boat since this was the transportation of early Native Americans in the Everglades. Our guide was Warren. He was safe and very knowledgeable, not only about the plants and wildlife, but also about the Native Americans of Southern Florida. We learned, we enjoyed, we really felt like we experienced the Everglades. Worth every minute....ask for Warren to be your guide.

 Pole boat with Tommy

Great experience with Tommy as our guide. So many sightings of orchids, gators, butterflies, dragon flies. It was a pleasure to be in the company of this knowledgeable young naturalist. Seeing nature up close and personal is the only way To fly!
