Southeast Michigan Segway

Detroit, Michigan

Overview

Step on and your instinct will be to steady yourself, as you would on anything with two wheels. But almost immediately you'll realize that the Segway PT is balancing for you! Just lean forward a little and you'll see that the Segway PT isn't moving you on its own, it's moving in response to your body movement. There is no accelerator and no brakes. Lean right to go right, lean left to go left. The Segway PT’s LeanSteer technology follows your every move. Some would say it's like carving down a mountain on a nice pair of skis. It’s one of the most fun things you can do standing up!

Our tour will begin with a 10 minute orientation session on how to safely operate the Segway, after which we will embark on our senic Segway Tour. Segway riders need to be at least 16 and over 100 lbs. and no more than 260 lbs. All riders must read and sign a release waiver and wear a helmet.
