About Amish Experience/ Amish Tours/ Magic Lantern Shows

Back be popular demand! An exclusive, very special experience as we travel roads rarely seen by visitors in the southern part of Lancaster. Learn about the making of the Harrison Ford movie WITNESS in Lancaster over 25 years ago.

The highlight of the tour is a visit to the actual farm where the movie WITNESS was filmed. By special permission of the Amish family, you'll be able to take photos on the property and go INSIDE the actual summer kitchen, where most of the key interior scenes were filmed, a rare opportunity indeed. We will also be able to step inside the barn where the famous dance to the car radio scene was filmed.

We'll also drive through three historic covered bridges as we observe Amish schools, farms, and beautiful scenery at twilight. Limited to 14 people on Wednesdays and Saturdays only, May thru October. Departure time is 4:30 pm. The farm is not open to the public and is available only through Amish Country Tours.
