But even with the busy season upon us, don't forget that many customers are thinking ahead and already planning for the next season. From marketing,, to reservations, to availability and inventory management; we improved the way that customer information is displayed in the management system. We made it easier to print reservations and we made it possible to enter reservations directly from the administration pages.

Referral program

How to get more business with referrals

The summer season is the busy season for many businesses, but even in the middle of the busiest season, don't forget that that the fall season is around the corner. Many of your customers are already thinking ahead and starting to make reservations for the fall and winter and so should you.

You are already providing outstanding service to your existing customers, why not give them the incentive to come back to you? Or even better, ask them to send their family and friends your way.

Here are some suggestions:

Customer discount

When your customers check out, give them a flyer that is good for a future discount, for example, one free day or 10% off. This is a great incentive for your customers and helps build an ongoing relationship.

Referral discount

Make referral discounts coupons that your customers can pass on to friends and family. Referrals is the best form of advertisement that you can get, and the cost of a referral discount is many times lower than the cost of attracting customers through regular advertisements.

Combined discount

You can also combine the two discounts and offer a discount or free day to the referral and a discount to the new customer. That way you create an incentive for the referral to pass along the information about your business and the discount.

New features

New Reservation Email

We have updated the look of the standard email when reservations are made or changed. The new email contains your business address, reservation details and customer information. If you have a Silver or Gold account the email will also include the thumbnail picture used for your business.

Printer friendly format

We have added a printer friendly format to the reservation management screen. Whenever you are viewing an existing reservation, choose this format to get the reservation printed correctly on your printer.

Credit card checking

Whenever credit card information is entered, WebReserv.com will now check that the number is valid. Although the credit card can still be declined by the processor, this check will discover most incorrect credit card entries.

Tips & Tricks: Entering new reservations

It's now easier to use WebReserv.com as your reservation management system. We have added links to create new reservations directly from the administration screen. You will find the links right under the list of pending reservations:

You will also find quick links to the availability screen, where you can change the inventory for specific date(s). This is useful, for example, if you want to mark a product (unit) as unavailable for a period of time.
