New look for administrators
Next time you log on to WebReserv you will find that the administration screens have been updated to sport a fresh new look and faster and easier navigation.
The new look on the administration screens is the first of several visual changes we are making to WebReserv during Spring 2007. Later this spring we will launch a new and warmer color scheme for the customer side of WebReserv.com.
The new look is not the only change you will notice. We have improved the configuration screens to be more intuitive and a setup wizard will guide you through the setup process and pinpoint if anything is missing.
The new version will be available on Sunday, March 11th, 2007.
We hope that you find these exciting new features helpful and as always we encourage you to send us your feedback and suggestions for how to make WebReserv.com even better.

More new features...
The new look on the administrator screens are not the only changes to WebReserv. We have improvements across most administration features. Some of the new features that we have included in this upcoming release are:
Rate Details
For reservations that require a deposit using a credit card, customers will now be presented with rate details prior to entering credit card information. The information presented on the rate details screen is similar to the information presented on the final confirmation page.
Day/Date Schedules
A new reservation type allows for specific day or date schedules. This is a useful feature for certain type of reservations, for example tours and cruises, classes, seminars and one-off offerings.
Rate lists
We have improved the price/rate lists to be easier to set up and more flexible to use.
Previously, the form of rate (per person, per reservation) was set up in the product/unit module. This selection is now done directly on the rates setup screen. In addition to improve the ease of use, the new rate selection allows for different pricing options on different pricelists.
Useful tips
Tips & Tricks: My availability calendar is gray, what is going on?
When you view the availability calendar on your website or WebReserv.com, you might see that the dates are grayed out as shown in the example below.
The grayed out dates happen when no rates have been set up for the specified period of time. In the example shown above, rates have only been defined to December 31st and the dates from January 1st is therefore grayed out.
It is not possible to make a reservation for dates that are grayed out, so always put in rates as far out as you have them.
