Overview
Our newly remodeled cottage near Yachats has two bedrooms, 2 full baths, large, sunny, country-style kitchen, woodstove for cozy evenings, washer and dryer, DSL hookup with printer, TV/VCR/DVD, and a sun room opening out to a south-facing deck. This room with adjoining bath has a couch that folds out to sleep 2 and large windows looking out onto a grass, trees, and beautiful flowering bushes on the edge of the Siuslaw National Forest. It is perfect for painting, meditation, gathering with friends, or just contemplating nature. The house is only a 5 to 7 minute walk to both a rocky beach with spectacular waves, and 7 miles of sandy beach stretching to the next town. A footpath into the Siuslaw National Forest, with a walking trail leading to a babbling mountain stream, starts at the end of the street.
